Does Sparks work
with your car?
Sparks works with electric and hybrid Renault, Dacia and Alpine cars linked to a My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account. What you can see and control then depends on your car and its connected services.

It’s electric or hybrid
An electric, hybrid or plug-in hybrid Renault, Dacia or Alpine. On a hybrid that doesn’t plug in, charging and remote climate control don’t appear.

It’s in your brand account
The car shows up in the My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account you sign in with.

Its connected services work
Whatever your brand’s app sees of your car, Sparks can see too.
The simplest way: install the test version and sign in, you’ll see straight away what your car shares.
Depends on your car
What depends on the model.
A feature Renault doesn’t offer for your car doesn’t show up, or doesn’t respond. Sparks can’t create it.

On some cars, Renault refuses certain remote commands in advance: Sparks doesn’t offer them. If your car’s privacy mode is on, Renault sends nothing and Sparks tells you so.

The car app is coming to Google Play for OpenR Link screens with Google built-in, as soon as Google approves it. It has been tested on the Mégane E-Tech.

My car doesn’t show up in Sparks
It has to be in the garage of your My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account. Add it in your brand’s app, then sign in to Sparks again.
A feature is missing for my car
That means Renault doesn’t offer it for your model or services. If you think otherwise, write to us with your model and its year: it helps us know the fleet better.
Can I try without a car?
Yes, on iPhone: on the app’s welcome screen, press and hold the logo for 3 seconds to open a demo car.
