The answer might already be here.

A “Renault outage” banner shows up

Calls to Renault are failing for several users at once. There’s nothing to do on your side: don’t sign out, don’t change your password. The banner goes away as soon as data comes back.

I sent a command and nothing happened

“Sent” means queued at Renault, not carried out. The car can take a while to answer, or say no. Sparks shows you the outcome when Renault gives it. Don’t send the same command several times in a row.

The data isn’t up to date

Renault serves copies that can be older than your request: the car may have measured its level a while ago. Sparks shows the time of the last reading when it’s known. The car decides when it sends a new one.

I see “—” instead of a value

The data is missing, and Sparks would rather show that than guess. Next to each estimate, an info button explains how it’s calculated.

My car can’t be found

It has to be in the garage of your My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account. Add it in your brand’s app, then sign in to Sparks again.

So we can help fast

What helps, and what you should never send.

  • Your phone (iPhone or Android) and the app version.
  • Your car model.
  • What you were doing, when, and what happened.
  • A screenshot, if you can.

Never

  • Your My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine password.
  • A code you got by text or email.
  • Your brand account PIN.

Nobody at Sparks will ever ask for them. If someone does in our name, it isn’t us.

What’s out of our hands

Sparks isn’t Renault.

Your brand account, your warranty, a fault with the car or a charger: we can’t do anything about those. For that, contact your garage, your brand’s customer service or your charging provider.
