Sparks is a free, ad-free and unofficial app for electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid Renault, Dacia and Alpine cars. It signs in to the driver’s My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account and shows battery, charging, trips and the cost of charging, always telling apart what the car measures from what is estimated.
Sparks is a free, unofficial app for electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid Renault, Dacia and Alpine cars, designed for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS and the car’s OpenR Link screen. Linked to the brand account, it shows battery level, live charging, trips, the cost of every charge and an estimate of battery health, with widgets and notifications. Its rule: never make up a value. When data is missing, Sparks shows a dash rather than a disguised estimate. Installed on the car’s screen, the app measures trips itself. Sparks also publishes the real-world consumption of its fleet, model by model, with thresholds that protect every car. It is published in France by an independent developer and a dozen co-developers.
