Is Sparks free?
Yes. Sparks is free, with no ads and no data resale. So are the iPhone and Android test versions.
Which cars does Sparks work with?
Electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid Renault, Dacia and Alpine cars linked to a My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account. Available features depend on the model, its equipment and Renault’s services. See compatible cars.
Is Sparks an official Renault app?
No. Sparks is an independent third-party app, not affiliated with Renault, Dacia or Alpine. It uses your My Renault, My Dacia or My Alpine account to read your car’s data.
Are the numbers accurate?
Renault sends little data. Sparks separates what the car measures from what is estimated, and says so every time. When a value can’t be worked out, the app shows “—” instead of making one up. Real-world consumption for each model, across the whole Sparks fleet: fleet in numbers.
Can I try Sparks without a car?
Yes, on iPhone. A demo account opens a fictional car: on the app’s welcome screen, press and hold the logo for 3 seconds. Nothing is sent to Renault.
Is the app available in English?
On Android and in the car, yes: those apps are multilingual. Not yet on iPhone, where the app is in French only; this website is in English so you know what to expect.
Is my password stored?
No, never. It’s used to sign you in to Renault, then it’s kept neither on your phone nor on the Sparks server.
